I finished up an old bottle of Purifying Foaming Cleanser (from when it was made in Holyoke, MA) and purchased what I thought was the same, but it is not. This one is clearly for those with acne prone and oily skin. The older Purifying Foaming Cleanser was gentle and had a very light fragrance. I usually prefer unscented anyway but this product has an earthy fragrance. I saved the packaging from the old bottle and ingredients look similar except no longer have distillates of natural oils. Also, pump design tends to put product onto rim of bottle rather than my hands.

This cleanser is the best I have come across. It cleans well without drying your skin out. I use the tonic spray adter cleansing followed by balancing day lotion. Love the results

Let me start off by saying that I have been using Suki's Purifying Foaming Cleaner for 20 years. It's my favorite cleanser. I used buy it in bulk. This last year the cleanser had been unavailable for 9 months. It is finally available to purchase but it seems they have changed the formulation. The cleanser itself seems thinner than it used to be and it has a chemical smell to the new formulation. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Please bring back the original formulation!!
