job summary

the independent broker will work closely with the general manager to develop & deliver on wholesale sales goals for suki®  skincare. our successful independent sales representative will bring significant experience, thoughtfulness & creativity in boutique, apothecary, pharmacy, practitioner, spa & natural retailers– identifying sales & business development strategies, securing business wins with existing account sell through & new business with rapid account growth, servicing key accounts & support the marketing strategies of all suki wholesale customers.

responsibilities

  •  travel throughout territory
  •  develop & deliver on regular sales goals with both short & long‐term plans for cross sector growth with bi‐monthly review & check in to foster & achieve goals
  •  maintain current roster of accounts with a minimum monthly check‐in assess needs & implement individualized growth strategy

product technician / operations

reports to: CEO / management team

job summary

the product technician will oversee the day to day details of product manufacturing to assure the high suki®  skincare standards for consistency & quality are maintained. small batches production to Suki’s proprietary formulas requires a keen attention to details and a sensitivity to variations in textures, scent and color. due to the variations with natural ingredients minor modifications are required & having a working knowledge of ingredient interaction is beneficial to assuring consistency.

communication both written & verbal must be strong, the ability to both move fast & have a honed attention to detail, as well as a background in either baking, chemistry, food science or other very specific product making experience is a necessity. college degree preferred.

some of the job responsibilities include:

 

  • implementing all product making procedures per specifications of company founder / owner & detailing every aspect of each formulation made. paperwork trails & compliance knowledge must be absolutely up to snuff
  • planning &amp maintenance of the laboratory information system, including: building databases, coordinating third party testing, maintaining product information files – including international paperwork
  • all FDA compliance record keeping (digital & paper files) , managing third party microbial testing and product aging for each batch made
  • will monitor ingredient inventory to optimal levels assuring manufacturing capacity meets projected demand
  • will source ingredients to our strict standards, generate purchase orders & maintain vendor relations
  • standardizes all lab protocols, prioritization & absolute ability to communicate with the CEO on task regularly
  • works with founder / formulator on sourcing ingredients in compliance with company–wide standards, which are extensive, getting clinical proof on all actives, purity proof on all pure ingredients, ensuring all ducks are in a row, & maintaining good manufacturing practices
  • ensures lab is operating under GMP guidelines
  • support the day to day running of production & warehouse
  • research – meeting with vendors & researching how the brand can move forward within our standards
  • making product in time frame to meet demands, & up stock inventory, seeing growth on the horizon & making sure we are up to date & never back stocked

qualifications:

  • minimum 1–3 years in skincare or other manufacturing lab (high production baking) or degree in food science
  • good math & science skills – ability to add & make formulations work with international compliance
  • a sincere interest in this industry, in growing this business & in learning always
  • must be able to make good decisions under pressure
  • communicate effectively both verbally & in writing, sending in work that is perfect

job summary

the customer representative will work with the customer service team to support retail & wholesale customers in placing orders & understanding the suki® skincare product application. primary responsibility is to provide service and instill confidence among customers for the brand.

responsibilities

  •  manage phones, being extremely pleasant while also being a source of trust to our customers–extensive product knowledge will be key
  •  a keen sense of urgency, balanced by a need for details to be right
  •  timely & appropriate social media replies (facebook, twitter, pinterest) with an enthusiasm for customer appreciation
  •  process all orders–retail, wholesale, whole foods (EDI), demo, carstock, marketing, phone, international – follow process on tracking sheet
  •  retail &ndsah; download, confirm shipping by updating shopping cart
  •  e–mail – organize, reply & manage customer order, returns, inquiries & issues
  •  answer phones
  •  track order issues (shipping & csr) on shared drive

 finance:

the marketing & sales assistant will work closely with the suki®  general manager to execute & incorporate the overall sales & marketing strategy. utilizing skills specific to both marketing & sales, the sales & marketing assistant will liaise with both departments to bring congruity to the team. additional administrative support including sales & marketing reports, guerrilla marketing, public relations & B2C support will be required.
